How to: Gua Sha

Here's our 5-step guide on how to Gua Sha your face to depuff like a pro.
Gua Sha is a traditional Chinese healing method designed to help contour and sculpt the face, as well as improve the effectiveness of your skincare regime by penetrating product deeper into your skin.
Now grab your Gua Sha and lets chisel those cheekbones!
1. Start with your neck
Angle the tool at 45 degrees, stroke up your neck until you enter your jawline.
2. Jawline
Hugging your jawline, move the Gua Sha all the way back along your jaw until you reach your ear. Wiggle for a massage.
3. Cheekbones
Using the same technique as the jawline, run the Gua Sha across your checkbones to your ear. Sweep outward and up to your ear. Wiggle when you meet your ear.
4. Eye Area
Apply the smaller corner at the inner eye, Using a very light pressure, sweep under eye and then angle upwards moving toward your temple. Wiggle once you reach it. Follow above the eyebrows and work towards the hairline.
5. Forehead
To finish, pull the Gua Sha up to your hairline. Wiggle for a massage.
Make sure to repeat each step 5 times or more and when you're finished, clean your Gua Sha with warm soapy water.
